Alejandro - Director of the School


Hola! Thank you for taking the time to visit our school website! I'll be more than happy to tell you more about our school and team! 
When we first started our small school, we never thought we would grow to become one of the leading Spanish Language organizations in Latin America. We have had the pleasure of meeting great students from all over the world and building a team with some of the most talented professionals in the field. Today, our school uses technology to innovate, creates books and guides for Immersion programs in Latin America, and promotes Peru as a wonderful destination for language education. We feel thankful and privileged to have you here with us and to trust us with your learning.

Mariella - Academic Director 


Meet Mariella! She is our Academic Director and a great friend! Thanks to her we can provide the best possible educational experience to every single student, and make sure we apply cutting edge strategies specially designed for teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Mariella has two degrees in education and literature from Universidad Nacional Federico Villareal in Lima and has also completed several specialization degrees, which include a Masters in education with a major in teaching and educational management (Universidad César Vallejo) and several Professional development programs for Spanish teachers given by Universidad de la Rioja, Spain. She’s also an Official examiner for the DELE International Test: Levels A1 to C2 (Instituto Cervantes), and a Certified trainer for the SIELE International Test. Mariella will always be prompt to responding any language inquiries you may have, and will make sure every student’s curricula is exactly what they need! On top of that, she may surprise you at your home country as she loves to travel the world to learn new teaching strategies to apply at the school!

Aaron - Director of Operations


Meet Aaron! He has a degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts from Universidad Ricardo Palma. He’s also been certified as a Customer Experience Manager by Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. Thanks to him, we make sure that every single student is having the best possible experience inside and outside the classroom. He checks in with students everyday to make sure they are enjoying their lessons and their overall experience in Lima. Aaron provides orientations every Monday, as well as organizes and carries out our school’s weekly activities. Moreover, Aaron assists the General Management Department by overseeing day-to-day administration and by coordinating our new students’ arrivals. Aaron’s biggest passion is photography. He’s also an expert at making the best Peruvian cocktails so make sure to attend his cocktail classes when organized by the school!

Alexandra - Managing Director


Meet Alexandra! She has a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. Alexandra is in charge of the School’s day to day administration, finance, accounting and HR activities. She looks out for our school’s staff in general as well as organizes activities which aim for integration. She as well takes care of non-academic services, such as the organization of homestays, calendars, and responding to student emails. She coordinates between our Academic and Administrative
departments so that they can work as a single unit and provide the best possible service for our students. Alexandra has an adventurer spirit, enjoys learning new languages, and has both traveled and lived in many places around the world, which makes us lucky to have her in our team.

Gladys - Academic Coordinator / Senior Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Gladys! Our brilliant Academic Coordinator! She has a degree in translation and interpreting from Universidad Ricardo Palma, and has recently completed a Master’s degree in teaching training of Spanish as a foreign language at the prestigious Universitat de Barcelona. She as well holds a graduate international degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Ricardo Palma University. Lastly, the prestigious Cervantes Institute has accredited her both as an official examiner for the DELE International Test for levels A1 to C2, and for the SIELE International Test (Instituto Cervantes, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Salamanca, and Universidad de Buenos Aires). Gladys’ not only a wonderful instructor but a great friend to all her students and teammates. She’s beyond committed to the Spanish language teaching. On top of that, Gladys has a very warm and friendly personality as she’s always looking out for every single one of us

Pablo - Senior Spanish Teacher / Head of Editorial Development & Learning Research

 

Meet Pablo! He has a degree in communication and journalism from Universidad Católica del Perú. Pablo does as well hold specialized teaching degrees, and has recently completed a Masters in teaching Spanish as a foreign language from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja in Spain. The prestigious Cervantes Institute has also accredited Pablo as an official examiner for the DELE International Test for levels A1/A2, B1/B2, and C1/C2. Lastly, he is also a certified trainer for the SIELE International Test (Instituto Cervantes, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Salamanca, and Universidad de Buenos Aires). As per his degree in journalism, Pablo’s class is a mixture of Spanish teaching and Peru’s reality. He loves being able to discuss various topics with his students in Spanish, and so you’ll find yourself immersed in a wonderful Peruvian experience when joining his lessons. Pablo’s passion is futbol, and he’s always happy to incorporate new students to his team!

Mily - Senior Spanish Teacher


Meet Milagros! She has a degree from Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega and has completed a Master’s in teaching training of Spanish as a foreign language at Universitat de Barcelona. Previously, Milagros also attended several courses for Spanish teaching such as “Inductive Learning” and “Real Use of the Language”, as well as obtained a graduate specialization in teaching Spanish as a foreign language held by Instituto Cervantes and Universidad Ricardo Palma. She’s also a certified DELE examiner (Levels A1 to C2) and a SIELE official trainer (Instituto Cervantes, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Salamanca, and Universidad de Buenos Aires). Milagros has a bright and sunny personality! Her Spanish classes are both refreshing and full of passion! She listens and cares for all her Spanish students, and actively works with them in order to meet their Spanish learning goals  She enjoys traveling and learning new things overall, so don’t be surprised if you unexpectedly run into her somewhere outside Peru!

Marilyn - Senior Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Marilyn! She has both a degree in education and in foreign languages from Universidad San Marcos, the most prestigious public university in the country. She also holds a graduate specialization degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad Católica del Perú, and is certified by the prestigious Cervantes Institute as an official DELE examiner for levels A1/A2, B1/B2, C1/C2, and A2/B1 ”Escolar”. On top of that, she has recently been accredited as an official trainer for the SIELE International Test (Cervantes Institute, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Salamanca, and Universidad de Buenos Aires). Marilyn’s passion for teaching clearly reflects on her classes filled with laughter, energy and fun anecdotes. In her, you’ll find not only a teacher, but also a wonderful friend! She loves being able to discuss everyday life topics with her students, as she considers daily experiences essential to make Spanish part of your life!

Melissa - Senior Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Melisa! She has a degree in translation from Universidad Ricardo Palma, as well as a graduate specialization degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad Católica del Perú. The prestigious Cervantes Institute has also certified Melisa as an official examiner for the DELE International Test for level B1/B2. Melisa truly has a passion for teaching. She enjoys getting to know her students from around the world and discover more about their cultures. On top of that, Melissa’s loved by all her schoolmates. This all makes her not only a terrific teacher but an undeniably wonderful friend

Estefanía - Senior Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Estefania! She has a degree both in Linguistics and in the Spanish Language from Universidad Nacional Federico Villareal. She’s recently completed a course titled “Key competencies for language teachers” given by Editorial Edinumen and Universidad de Salamanca. Estefania does as well hold a graduate specialization in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad Catolica del Peru. Moreover, Cervantes Institute has accredited her both as an Official DELE Examiner (levels A1 to C2) and as a SIELE Official Trainer. Furthermore, she has completed a Professional development program called “Innovation in ELE instructional competencies” given by Universidad de la Rioja in Spain. Estefania has a very fun yet organized and unique teaching style. She takes all her students’ learning goals very seriously and organizes her class accordingly. She loves it when her students feel accomplished and is constantly working hard to provide them with new class activities, which are both fun and challenging.

Mariana - Senior Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Mariana! She has a degree both in Education and Foreign languages from Universidad San Marcos, the best and most prestigious public university in the country. She also has a graduate specialization degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad Catolica del Peru, and is certified by the prestigious Cervantes Institute as an official examiner for the DELE International Test for level B1/B2. Learning Spanish with Mariana is extremely enjoyable! Her passion for the Spanish language teaching is undeniable. If you’re in her group classes, we’re sure you’re familiar with her fun Peruvian weekend expressions. Come find out!

Fabricio - Senior Spanish Teacher


Meet Fabricio! He holds a professional degree from Universidad Católica de Santa María de Arequipa and a specialization degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language from Universidad Externado de Colombia. Additionally, the prestigious Cervantes Institute has accredited him as an official DELE examiner for levels A1 to C2. Moreover, he is a certified trainer for the SIELE International Test. In the last couple of years Fabricio has completed several specialized Spanish courses on “Dynamics and contents for ELE teaching training”, “Intercultural teaching”, “Individual factors in language teaching”, “Inductive learning” and “Real use of the language” given by Edinumen Publishing House, Cambridge University Press and Universidad de Salamanca. From the moment you meet Fabricio, you can tell what a wonderful person and teacher he is. The energy he brings to class in indescribable. He is truly committed to the Spanish language and empathizes greatly with his students whose learning goals are taken very seriously. Fabricio’s hobbies are cycling, volleyball, and he’s as well excited to discover new places, so you’ll find him participating in most of our extra-curricular activities. Come meet him!

Patricia - Senior Spanish Teacher


Meet Patricia! She has both a degree in education and in foreign languages from Universidad San Marcos, the most prestigious public university in the country. She is also an accredited DELE examiner for levels B1/B2, C1/C2, and A2/B1 ”Escolar” by the prestigious Cervantes Institute. She is as well a certified trainer for the SIELE International Test (Instituto Cervantes, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Salamanca, and Universidad de Buenos Aires). Patricia has recently completed specialized Spanish courses on Cultural and Intercultural Learning, Inductive Learning, and Real use of the language given by Edinumen Publishing House, Cambridge University Press and Universidad de Salamanca. “Miss Patty” (as we love to call her) makes sure to provide her students with a fun class environment filled with ingenious class activities, which are usually her own. She loves children and has taken several courses on children’s class methodology so she’s often in charge of our Spanish for Kids/ Teenagers program.

Erika - Senior Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Erika! She holds a Translation and Interpreting Bachelor’s degree from Universidad César Vallejo. She has a passion for languages and so in addition to Spanish, her native language, she speaks fluent English, French, Portuguese and some Italian. Her passion for the Spanish teaching began when she attended a course given by ELE Internacional and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Spain, called “Introduction to the Spanish language”. Erika is now certified both as a DELE Examiner (levels B1/B2, A2-B1 “Escolar) and an official SIELE trainer by the prestigious Instituto Cervantes. Moreover, Erika is currently coursing a Teaching Master’s in foreign languages at Universidad César Vallejo. Erika’s innate passion for teaching and exceptionally flexible teaching style makes her able to adapt and respond to all her students’ learning goals. She’s fun, ingenious and loves to constantly work on new activities to provide her students every class. Erika’s charisma is indescribable! She listens actively and this makes her both a wonderful teacher and a great friend. Adjectives like “fun” “meaningful” and “delightful” are commonly used to describe her classes. Come meet her!

Alexis - Specialized Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Alexis! He graduated as a Software Engineer at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. However, he always had a passion for Spanish teaching and so he decided to as well major in Education and in foreign languages at Universidad San Marcos, the best and most prestigious public university in the country. Alexis is now an official examiner for the DELE International Test (Levels A1/A2, B1/B2, and C1/C2) by Instituto Cervantes. Lastly, he’s also been accredited as a certified trainer for the SIELE International Test (Instituto Cervantes, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Salamanca, and Universidad de Buenos Aires). Alexis is a warm person who’s always excited to share his life experiences in class, as well as some fun cultural facts. You’ll find him almost at every activity that the school hosts as he considers extremely important for Spanish students to also develop their social Spanish skills outside the classroom.

Kelly - Specialized Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Kelly! She has a Translation and Interpreting Bachelor’s degree from Universidad César Vallejo. Kelly has also attended a training for Teachers of Spanish as a foreign language held by Instituto Cervantes and Universidad Ricardo Palma. She is also a certified trainer for the SIELE International Test (Instituto Cervantes, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Salamanca, and Universidad de Buenos Aires). Kelly does as well have a passion for languages. She has great knowledge in Russian, English, German, French, Portuguese and Japanese! Her language skills clearly reflect on her unique and resourceful teaching style! Kelly’s truly comitted to what she does, and loves to work together with her students to meet their various Spanish language goals. Come meet her!

Antonio - Specialized Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Antonio! He has a degree in Translation and Interpreting from Cibertec Institute, one of the most prestigious institutes in Peru. He is as well a certified trainer for the SIELE International Test (Instituto Cervantes, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Salamanca, and Universidad de Buenos Aires). Antonio loves teaching Spanish and enjoys learning new languages. He speaks fluent English and Portuguese! Moreover, he’s completed several courses in “Social and emotional learning”, “Inductive learning”, “Cultural and intercultural learning”, “Learning strategies” and “Real use of the language” held by Edinumen Publishing House, Cambridge University Press and Universidad de Salamanca. Antonio’s a truly committed teacher and a wonderful friend! His lessons are full of great energy and fun anecdotes! For him, an effective language learning goes beyond what’s learned in a classroom. Therefore, he truly encourages his students to take part in all the events that Lima has to offer.

July - Specialized Spanish Teacher

 

Meet July! She has both a degree in Linguistics and Education from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, the most prestigious public university in the country. July does as well holds a diploma in Intercultural Bilingual Education (for Quechua and Aymara languages) and has specialized in Spanish Reading Comprehension at Universidad de Educación Enrique Guzmán y Valle La Cantuta. More recently, she’s completed two courses in “Cultural and Intercultural learning” and “Spanish learning strategies” given by Edinumen Publishing House, Cambridge University Press and Universidad de Salamanca. July’s passion for cultures truly reflect on her teaching style! She has traveled and lived in many places inside Peru, with the clear objective to teach Spanish, Quechua and Aymara, all official languages in Peru. She has a bright and wonderful personality as well as some genuine love to what she does and to all her students.

Alicia - Activities Assistant

 

Meet Alicia! She’s the one in charge of Misk’i Mikhuy, a new market initiative taking place at our school. Thanks to them, our students are provided with the best organic products at the lowest prices. Alicia is an amazing cook, and this is why she’s also responsible of our popular Peruvian cooking classes, which take place almost every Friday at the school. Alicia is always excited to pass on their wisdom and delicious recipes, which she kindly explains in Spanish. Come meet her!

Vanessa - School Custodian


Meet Vanessa! Thanks to her our school is organized and ready to go every day! She also takes care of our school cafeteria, so that our students are provided with several hot drinks and some snacks for free during class breaks! Vanessa’s service skills go beyond expected. If you’re an early bird who likes to take classes during early mornings, Vanessa will make sure to expect you with some fresh coffee kindly delivered to your classroom  On top of that, Vanessa likes to take part of other school activities, being our salsa classes her preferred ones!
