Alejandro - Director of the School


Hola! Thank you for taking the time to visit our school website! I'll be more than happy to tell you more about our school and team! 
When we first started our small school, we never thought we would grow to become one of the leading Spanish Language organizations in Latin America. We have had the pleasure of meeting great students from all over the world and building a team with some of the most talented professionals in the field. Today, our school uses technology to innovate, creates books and guides for immersion programs in Latin America, and promotes Peru as a wonderful destination for language education. We feel thankful and privileged to have you here with us and to trust us with your learning.

Mariella - Academic Director 


Meet Mariella! She is our Academic Director and a great friend! Thanks to her we can provide the best possible educational experience to every single student, and make sure we apply cutting edge strategies specially designed for teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Mariella has degrees in education and literature from Universidad Nacional Federico Villareal in Lima and has also completed several specialization degrees, which include a Masters in education with a major in teaching and educational management (Universidad César Vallejo) and several Professional development programs for Spanish teachers given by Universidad de la Rioja, Spain. She’s also an Official examiner for the DELE International Test: Levels A1 to C2 (Instituto Cervantes), and a Certified trainer for the SIELE International Test. Mariella will always be prompt in responding to any language inquiries you may have, and will make sure every student’s curriculum is exactly what they need! On top of that, she may surprise you at your home country as she loves to travel the world to learn new teaching strategies to apply at the school!

Aaron - Director of Operations


Meet Aaron! He has a degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, and Culinary Arts from Universidad Ricardo Palma. He’s also been certified as a Customer Experience Manager by Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. Thanks to him, we make sure that every single student is having the best possible experience inside and outside the classroom. He checks in with students everyday to make sure they are enjoying their lessons and their overall experience in Lima. Aaron provides orientations every Monday, as well as organizes and carries out our school’s weekly activities. Moreover, Aaron assists the General Management Department by overseeing day-to-day administration and by coordinating our new students’ arrivals. Aaron’s biggest passion is photography. He’s also an expert at making the best Peruvian cocktails, so make sure to attend his cocktail classes when organized by the school!

Alexandra - Managing Director


Meet Alexandra! She has a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. Alexandra is in charge of the School’s day to day administration, finance, accounting and HR activities. She looks out for our school’s staff in general as well as organizes activities which aim for integration. She also takes care of non-academic services, such as the organization of homestays, calendars, and responding to student emails. She coordinates between our Academic and Administrative
departments so that they can work as a single unit and provide the best possible service for our students. Alexandra has an adventurous spirit, enjoys learning new languages, and has both traveled and lived in many places around the world, which makes us lucky to have her in our team.

Fabricio - Academic Coordinator / Senior Spanish Teacher


Meet Fabricio! He holds a professional degree from Universidad Católica de Santa María de Arequipa and a specialization degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language from Universidad Externado de Colombia. Additionally, the prestigious Cervantes Institute has accredited him as an official DELE examiner for levels A1 to C2. Moreover, he is a certified trainer for the SIELE International Test. In the last couple of years Fabricio has completed several specialized Spanish courses on “Dynamics and contents for ELE teaching training”, “Intercultural teaching”, “Individual factors in language teaching”, “Inductive learning” and “Real use of the language” given by Edinumen Publishing House, Cambridge University Press and Universidad de Salamanca. From the moment you meet Fabricio, you can tell what a wonderful person and teacher he is. The energy he brings to class in indescribable. He is truly committed to the Spanish language and empathizes greatly with his students whose learning goals are taken very seriously. Fabricio’s hobbies are cycling, volleyball, and he’s also excited to discover new places, so you’ll find him participating in many of our extra-curricular activities. Come meet him!

Estefanía - Senior Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Estefania! She has a degree both in Linguistics and in the Spanish Language from Universidad Nacional Federico Villareal. She’s recently completed a course titled “Key competencies for language teachers” given by Editorial Edinumen and Universidad de Salamanca. Estefania also holds a graduate specialization in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad Catolica del Peru. Moreover, the Instituto Cervantes has accredited her both as an Official DELE Examiner (levels A1 to C2) and as a SIELE Official Trainer. Furthermore, she has completed a Professional development program called “Innovation in ELE instructional competencies” given by Universidad de la Rioja in Spain. Estefania has a very fun yet organized and unique teaching style. She takes all her students’ learning goals very seriously and organizes her class accordingly. She loves it when her students feel accomplished and is constantly working hard to provide them with new class activities, which are both fun and challenging.

Patricia - Senior Spanish Teacher


Meet Patricia! She holds a professional degree in education and in foreign languages from  the prestigious Universidad San Marcos. On top of this, she has a graduate specialization degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad Catolica del Peru.  Patricia is as well an official DELE examiner for levels B1/B2, C1/C2, and A2/B1 ”Escolar” certified by the prestigious Instituto Cervantes, and is a certified trainer for the SIELE International Test. Patricia has recently completed specialized Spanish courses on Cultural and Intercultural Learning, Inductive Learning, and Real Use of the Language given by Edinumen Publishing House, Cambridge University Press, and Universidad de Salamanca. “Miss Patty” (as we love to call her) makes sure to provide her students with a fun class environment filled with ingenious class activities, which are usually her own inventions. She loves children and has taken several courses on children’s class methodology, so she’s often in charge of our Spanish for Kids/ Teenagers program.

Kelly - Senior Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Kelly! She has both a Translation and Interpreting bachelor’s degree from Universidad César Vallejo and a bachelor's degree in Tourism from CEPEA Institute. On top of this, Kelly has a graduate specialization degree in Teaching Spanish as a foreign language by the prestigious Instituto Cervantes and Universidad Ricardo Palma, and is currently completing a Masters degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign Language at Nebrija University from Spain. Kelly is as well an official DELE examiner for levels A1/A2, B1/B2, C1/C2, and A2/B1 ”Escolar” certified by the prestigious Instituto Cervantes, and is a certified trainer for the SIELE International Test. Finally, Kelly has recently completed specialized Spanish courses on Cultural and Intercultural Learning, Inductive Learning, Social and Emotional Learning, Learning Strategies, and Real Use of the Language, given by Edinumen Publishing House, Cambridge University Press, and Universidad de Salamanca. Kelly has a real passion for languages. She has studied Russian, English, German, French, Portuguese and Japanese! Her language skills clearly reflect her unique and resourceful teaching style! Kelly’s truly comitted to what she does, and loves to work together with her students to meet their various Spanish language goals. Come meet her!

Melisa - Senior Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Melisa! She has a degree in translation from Universidad Ricardo Palma, as well as a graduate specialization degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad Católica del Perú. The prestigious Instituto Cervantes has also certified Melisa as an official examiner for the DELE International Test for level B1/B2. Melisa truly has a passion for teaching. She enjoys getting to know her students from around the world and discover more about their cultures. On top of that, Melissa is loved by all her schoolmates. This all makes her not only a terrific teacher, but an undeniably wonderful friend.

Milagros - Senior Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Milagros! She has a degree in Literature and Linguistics from Universidad Nacional de San Agustín de Arequipa and has a master’s degree in Linguistics Applied to the teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad Europea del Atlántico in Spain. On top of that, the prestigious Instituto Cervantes has also certified Milagros as an official examiner for the DELE International Test (levels B1 and B2). Mily has more than 12 years of experience teaching Spanish full-time and she loves speaking different languages such as English, Italian, French, Korean and a little Mandarin! Her classes are full of positive energy and fun anecdotes from her travels! Mily is also very passionate about our country, and she proudly uses interesting facts about Perú to help our students connect with our culture and traditions and so maximize their time learning Spanish in Peru.

Christian - Senior Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Christian! He has a bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpreting as well as a specialization in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad Ricardo Palma in Lima. On top of this, Christian has recently completed a master’s degree from Universidad de la Rioja in Spain, and he is as well an official DELE examiner (for levels B1 and B2) certified by the recognized Instituto Cervantes. In his leisure time Christian enjoys painting, reading and playing the guitar! He is also very passionate for scenic arts and, moreover, he speaks fluent English, French and a little Dutch and German! Christian is a passionate teacher who knows how to combine fun, playfulness and discipline. He is deeply involved with Peruvian Culture and his unique teaching style characterized by explaining in great detail interesting facts about Perú has delighted many students from different countries. Mercedes - Senior Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Mercedes! She has a teaching bachelor degree from Instituto Pedagógico Nacional Monterrico and has completed a Masters degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the prestigious Universidad de Barcelona from Spain. On top of this, Mercedes has been certified by the prestigious Instituto Cervantes as an official DELE examiner for levels A1/A2 and B1/B2.

Mercedes is an amazing teacher who always has so much energy. She genuinely cares about her students and is always looking for ways to help them learn. She's also incredibly patient, which is really helpful when learning a new language. To make her classes engaging, she's constantly creating new class materials and activities, as a result, her students learn a lot while also having a lots of fun in the process.

Antonio - Expert Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Antonio! He has a degree in Translation and Interpreting from Cibertec Institute, one of the most prestigious institutes in Peru. On top of this, he's been certified by the prestigious Instituto Cervantes as an official DELE examiner for levels B1/B2 and C1/C2, and has recently been accredited as an official trainer for the SIELE International Test (Cervantes Institute, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Salamanca, and Universidad de Buenos Aires). Antonio loves teaching Spanish and enjoys learning new languages. He speaks fluent English and Portuguese! Moreover, he’s completed several courses in “Social and Emotional Learning”, “Inductive Learning”, “Cultural and Intercultural Learning”, “Learning Strategies”, and “Real Use of the Language” held by Edinumen Publishing House, Cambridge University Press, and Universidad de Salamanca. Antonio’s a truly committed teacher and a wonderful friend! His lessons are full of great energy and fun anecdotes! For him, effective language learning goes beyond just what’s learned in a classroom. Therefore, he truly encourages his students to take part in all the experiences that Lima has to offer.

She loves being able to discuss everyday life topics with her students, as she considers daily experiences essential to make Spanish part of your life!

Kristel - Expert Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Kristel! She has a Literature Bachelor’s degree from the prestigious Universidad San Marcos. Additionally, Kristel has been certified by the prestigious Instituto Cervantes as an official DELE examiner for levels B1/B2, and has recently been accredited as an official trainer for the SIELE International Test (Cervantes Institute, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Salamanca, and Universidad de Buenos Aires). Kristel's innate passion for teaching and exceptionally flexible teaching style makes her able to adapt and respond to all her students’ learning goals. She’s fun, ingenious and loves to constantly work on new activities to provide her students every class. Kristel's charisma is amazing! She listens actively and this makes her both a wonderful teacher and a great friend. Adjectives like “fun” “meaningful” and “delightful” are commonly used to describe her classes. Come meet her!

Cristofer - Expert Spanish Teacher

 

Meet Cristofer! He has a professional degree in Translation and Interpreting from the Lima Institute of Technical Studies, one of the most prestigious institutes in Peru. He is also a certified trainer for the SIELE International Test (Instituto Cervantes, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Salamanca, and Universidad de Buenos Aires). Moreover, Cristofer has recently completed specialized Spanish courses on Cultural and Intercultural Learning, Inductive Learning, Social and Emotional Learning, Learning Strategies, and Real Use of the Language, given by Edinumen Publishing House, Cambridge University Press, and Universidad de Salamanca. Cristofer has a bright and sunny personality! His Spanish classes are both refreshing and full of passion, he listens and cares for all her Spanish students, and actively works with them in order to meet their Spanish learning goals.

Alicia - Activities Assistant

 

Meet Alicia! She’s the one in charge of Misk’i Mikhuy, a new market initiative taking place at our school. Thanks to her, our students are provided with the best organic products at the lowest prices. Alicia is an amazing cook, which is why she’s also responsible for the popular Peruvian cooking classes that take place almost every Friday at the school. Alicia is always excited to pass on her wisdom and delicious recipes, which she kindly explains in Spanish. Come meet her!
