Why is the Spanish for Children Program more expensive than our Program for adults?

While we take great pains to customize all of our classes to the unique needs of every student, we find that children’s classes tend to require significantly more teacher prep time and specialization. This normally involves more supplemental teaching materials, individualized courses of study, and requires special training and aptitude among our teachers. This translates into slightly higher costs in order to maintain our high teaching quality.

  • Miraflores homestays = 15 to 35 minutes walking distance to School.

  • In order to make our homestay prices more affordable for everyone, our school does not take a cut from what our students pay to their families. This is why payments are made directly to your family and cash is the only method of payment accepted (host families are not businesses, so they can't accept credit cards). If you know you won't be able to pay in cash, a wire transfer is available as an alternative way to pay your family

Shared apartment quick facts (please note)...

  • Heart of Miraflores = 10 to 20 minutes walking distance to School.

  • Walking distance apartment = 21 to 35 minutes walking distance to School.

  • In order to make our shared apartment prices more affordable for everyone, our school does not take any cut from what our students pay to the apartment landlords. This is why payments are made directly to the apartment landlord, and cash is the only method of payment accepted (Apartment landlords are not businesses, so unfortunately they can't accept credit cards). If you know you won't be able to pay in cash, a wire transfer is available as an alternative way to pay your landlord.
